jaytail send, jaytail receive and jaytail request connect the two computers directly when
they can. When they cannot, the transfer goes through the jaytail relay (relay.jaytail.dev). These terms complement
section 6 of the End User License Agreement.
What the relay does
The relay forwards end-to-end encrypted packets between the two computers. It cannot read the file and stores nothing of it. It processes connection metadata (IP addresses, endpoint identifiers, connection times, data volumes) as described in the privacy notice.
Fair use
The relay is available to every transfer, whichever side created the ticket, for moving log files and similar data between people. To keep it available for everyone we may apply rate limits, traffic limits and temporary restrictions. [Publish concrete limits, if any]
You must not use the relay to transmit data unlawfully or without authorization, to infringe others' rights, to distribute malware, or to interfere with the relay's security or operation.
Availability
We run the relay with care but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, move or replace it, with notice where practicable. A perpetual license does not include a perpetual entitlement to hosted services. Restricting relay access never affects the local features of your license.
